With the impending opening up of Western Australia's borders, we will be implementing some new procedures to help with the continuing service that we provide to the community.
These changes will be undertaken as and when required as the Covid-19 spreads through the community to maximise your and our protection while maintaining our services to you.
These changes will initially involve the following:
- One client in the clinic at any one time;
- Clients to wait outside the clinic and to ring 9438 1311 to notify us of your arrival;
- Your temperature will be taken upon entry; and
- The waiting room will be located outside the clinic.
Based upon the experience from other veterinary clinics in the eastern states and overseas we may need to:
- Introduce a no-entry policy into the clinic;
- Clients to ring 9438 1311 to notify us of your arrival;
- A nurse will come and collect the patient and bring them into the clinic to be treated;
- The consultation will be performed using a mobile telephone (a mobile can be supplied upon request); and
- The consultation will be performed via facetime, telehealth, etc.
As part of these changes, we will be introducing the following:
- Home delivery of medication (if you are isolating);
- Medications can be ordered online via the 'Online Booking' drop-down menu;
- Home delivery of pet food (if you are isolating);
- If you are isolating the delivery of our services for basic medical services ONLY may be undertaken via facetime, telehealth, etc;
- Food / Medication delivery time will be between 4 pm - 6 pm daily; and
- Payment must be made over the telephone or via online transfer before delivery can be made.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We understand that it is very stressful not being able to be with your pet at all times, or bring your whole family, however, we are taking these measures to ensure that we can continue the treatment of very sick and injured patients that need to see us every week. We want to avoid the scenario where we have to shut down whilst all staff are in a 14-day isolation lock-down.
